Anyael Language
What Is Anyael?
Anyael is a language. More specifically, it is a language I plan to use in my novels. In the books, it serves as a standard, global language. Set in the future, Anyael has become a mandatory second language, and in many cases, is the first language, with the 'local' language learned as the second language.
In the history of the books, Anyael was, in fact, specifically developed to be as simple and easy as possible, to enable just about anyone to learn the language.
Why Am I Developing It?
Largely just because I can. I would like to be able to prove that I can develop a language, for practical use, artistic use, and fictional use.
Also, while Anyael is rarely ever directly used in the books, it's mentioned quite a bit, and many times it's written out as background words. I would like to be able to have some consistency across the books.
Besides - it would be kind of cool to spread the language out. Who knows, maybe one day I'll start trying to spread the language, and in the distant future, it will become a legit, real deal language.
